Can I use my current fleet? Or do we need to acquire new vehicles and assets that already have the modern systems on board to which we could then apply the automation technology?

No, one of the benefits of our technology is that you avoid the significant capital cost of purchasing new assets, as we can automate any asset you already have, regardless of the age, model or make. You can read more about this here.

We have existing systems such as a Fleet Management System and a Traffic Management System – will the new technology be able to communicate with these?

Our technology is interoperable which means that it doesn’t matter what systems you may already have in place, our technology will be able to communicate with these systems. You can read more about our technology here.

If I am not ready to fully automate the mining operation, would you still be able to automate just a part of it?

We will work with you to determine the best automation solution to meet your unique operational requirements, whether that is a basic level of automation such as remote control, right up to full automation and smart vehicles. The remote location of our operation means that we often experience a loss of communications. How does this impact our autonomous fleet? Do we need to expect some downtime?

No, your automated vehicle will continue to operate, it will always complete its mission, even when communications are down, but within the safety standard allowance. This means that there is minimal time lost due to downtime.
